Instructions should have clear, simple steps so you don’t confuse the person reading them.

Can you make these various instructions easier to understand?

Fill out the following table to help you explain the Growing in the dark: Plants and light experiment

Aim - what are you trying to find out?	Which type of vinegar Produces the biggest reaction with baking soda.
Hypothesis - what do you think your results will be?	What I reckon is that that balsamic vinegar will be the biggest and the white vinegar will be the second biggest, and wine vinegar will be the least amount of reaction.
Independent Variable - what variable will you change?	White , Balsamic Vinegar and Red Wine
Dependent Variable - what variable will you measure?	Baking soda with every other Vinegar and Wine
Controlled Variable - what variables will you keep the same?	No variables will still be the same.

The students of Room 4 wanted to find out what colour of bird feeders birds preferred. FIll our the table below thinking of which variables you would make independent, dependent and controlled.

Independent Variable - what variable will you change?	Put the plants in a dark cupboard and add water
Dependent Variable - what variable will you measure?	I would measure the soil and measure how long it will take
Controlled Variable - what variables will you keep the same?	I would keep the soil the same

This week we got a new task to work on . Throughout the past few terms I have learnt heaps about Algebrah. So I wanna thank my teachers for putting this work up for us to work on. I'm really proud of what I learnt in Maths class this year.
